I was Series Editor of multi-award winning Unreported World for two years with four runs under my belt. The job involved managing a research team as we originated ideas before pitching six films per run to Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor
I then chose the reporters and crews for each film before we produce 30 minute films from around the world that resonate with British viewers
The production is done with very quick turnarounds under tight deadlines in time for an online often in the week of transmission
I’ve managed to turn around falling viewing figures with a refreshed style and punchy content to attract a wider audience
Running parallel to the film production I’ve also devised a social media campaign stretching across all platforms that includes a very successful YouTube site
